Job summary

Sunset Woods Senior Living in Wisconsin is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to lead our dining services team. You will oversee staffing, training, sanitation, safety, and quality controls to ensure excellent resident nutrition and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensures CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct are adhered to at all times.
• Ensures compliance with Resident Rights and HIPAA policies at all times.
• Ensures all aspects of the Dietary department run efficiently.
• Interviews and hires prospective Dietary staff.
• Schedules and covers all Dietary positions.
• Trains new Dietary staff and Caregivers in dining areas.
• Plans, coordinates, and implements special functions.
• Provides continuing education and training of the Dietary staff; coaches and mentors staff daily.
• Evaluates staff and completes performance reviews for Dietary staff.
• Manages department activities including purchasing, inventory par levels, portion control, menu requirements, and budget, maintaining high quality standards.

About The Opportunity

Provides overall management of the dining services team, including ensuring satisfactory staffing levels, staff education and training, and timely staff evaluations. Is responsible for kitchen and dining area sanitation, productivity, safety, and quality controls. Other relevant duties may be required or assigned by management.
