Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dining Services Manager in Training in Keyser, WV. This structured and paid 16-week program will train you to manage dining services in a healthcare setting with hands-on and computer-based training.

In this role, you will learn to oversee operations, ensure safety and sanitation, train staff, manage inventory, and deliver excellent resident and guest service. A strong work ethic and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Certifications (FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, CDM/CFPP) may be required during the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation and service.
• Learn to ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards compliance.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact with residents, staff, and guests to provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP ( where required by state regulations ) certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
