Healthcare Services Group, Inc is offering a 16-week paid training program to become a Dining Services Manager in Training. The program covers hands-on and computer-based training to learn how to manage dining services in healthcare settings.

Eligible candidates will gain operational experience and participate in staff development within a patient-care environment. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, and other wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, and CDM,CFPP certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.

• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP ( where required by state regulations ) certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Additional Pay Information

Offered hourly rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
