Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Dining Services Manager in Training to learn to manage your own account within a healthcare setting.

This structured and paid 16-week program provides hands-on and computer-based training to develop you to oversee dining services. You will learn about health, safety, sanitation standards, staff scheduling, inventory management, and delivering excellent resident and guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dining services or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must obtain FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, and CDM/CFPP certifications during the program where required.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP ( where required by state regulations ) certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
