TouchPoint is seeking a Dining Services Manager to oversee the food and nutrition department within a hospital environment. You will lead a team of food service professionals and manage daily dining operations, ensuring alignment with the facility's goals and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of food service management experience.
• Healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or high-volume food service experience.
• Experience with table service, catering, or guest-facing dining operations preferred.
• Knowledge of food service trends, quality standards, sanitation, cost controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and analyze financial data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

As a Dining Services Manager, you will assist in managing the food and nutrition department, leading a team of food service professionals, and overseeing daily dining operations within a hospital environment. This role supports strong interdepartmental relationships and helps align dining services with the facility's overall goals, standards, and operational plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing dining services operations for a medium to large-volume account.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Support financial management activities, including budgeting, cost controls, and profit-and-loss accountability.
• Partner with the Executive Chef and leadership team to develop menus and deliver high-quality food and service.
• Assist in managing all food service-related activities, with a strong focus on patient and guest meal services, quality assurance, sanitation, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Support the implementation of new culinary programs and initiatives in collaboration with culinary and marketing teams.
• Assist in preparing quarterly business reviews and client presentations.
• Work closely with marketing and culinary leadership to enhance customer satisfaction, drive participation, and increase sales through innovative dining programs.
• Ensure food programs and service standards align with company goals and expectations.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of food service management experience
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, restaurant, corporate dining, education, military, or other high-volume food service environments
• Previous experience with table service, catering, or guest-facing dining operations is preferred
• Knowledge of food service trends, quality standards, food safety, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and support operational decision-making
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet-based applications
• ServSafe Certification preferred
