Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking an Operations Leader for dining services to oversee daily kitchen and dining room activities at our community. You will manage purchasing, budgeting, and adherence to recipes and food safety, while ensuring residents receive meals per prescribed diets and high service standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting ability, and a focus on hospitality, dignity, and respect in every interaction with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in food service management or supervision.
• Serv Safe or equivalent certification is required.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and maintain a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day dining services operations at the community.
• Purchase food and non-food items and ensure 95% DSSI ordering compliance.
• Balance and manage budgets for raw food and supplies.
• Follow recipes and ensure food is served safely and appropriately sized.
• Adhere to health regulations and serve residents’ prescribed diets as needed.
• Drive resident satisfaction with hospitality and service standards.
• Develop and implement dining area cleanliness and sanitation procedures.
• Interview, train, hire, discipline, and manage dining staff; schedule staffing within budget.
