Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Avery Point in Short Pump, near Richmond, VA, is seeking a Dining Services Manager to oversee meal preparation and service across the Kitchen, Restaurant, Café and Catering operations.

You will supervise Dining Managers, Trainers, Restaurant and Culinary Staff, lead training and development, manage the dining budget, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering hospitality-focused service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in food service management including production, service and sanitation.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Serve Safe Certification within 6 months; additional certifications may be required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages the overall dining program including meal service and hospitality.
• Supervises dining managers, culinary staff and service staff; trains and disciplines as needed.
• Manages the financial operation of the Dining program.
• Ensures dining program compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations while maintaining hospitality focus.
• Provides dining service training for Dining and Catering Staff.
