Job summary

Pegasus Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services Director to lead a chef-driven dining program in our community. You will oversee menu planning, production, purchasing, budgeting, and compliance while delivering restaurant-quality meals and hospitality.

You'll recruit and develop a passionate dining team, build relationships with residents and families, and partner with health services to tailor dining to dietary needs, all while driving operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of culinary leadership or foodservice management experience.
• Senior Living experience not required – willingness to learn.
• Strong focus on hospitality, service quality and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead all dining operations, including menu planning, production, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, and compliance.
• Serve as lead chef up to three days per week with high standards for quality and presentation.
• Champion scratch-cooking and a culture of culinary creativity.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served with pride and hospitality.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing dining team.
• Build relationships with residents and families; tailor dining to preferences and needs.
