Qualifications

• Five or more years of culinary leadership or foodservice management experience.
• Willingness to learn Senior Living (not required).
• Strong hospitality focus and respect for older adults.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
• Experience managing food costs, labor budgets, purchasing, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Lead all dining operations including menu planning, production, purchasing and budgeting.
• Serve as lead chef up to three days per week with high quality standards.
• Foster a scratch-cooking culture emphasizing fresh prep and resident satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing dining team.
• Build relationships with residents and families to personalize dining.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Manage location food purchasing, inventory controls, and labor resources to meet financial goals.
