Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Dining Services Director to supervise all aspects of food service at the community in Hockessin, Delaware. You will hire, train, and manage staff, ensure on-time meal service, and maintain sanitation and safety standards.

You will develop monthly menus, monitor budgets, coordinate with maintenance for equipment, and support residents with dietary needs. Strong leadership, ServSafe certification, and a commitment to quality meals are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Food Service Manager Certificate and/or meet regulatory requirements.
• ServSafe Certified.
• High school diploma required.
• Experience in dining services with management/leadership.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and evaluates dining services staff.
• Develops monthly menus meeting dietary needs and sanitation standards.
• Manages ordering, inventory, and budget for food, supplies, and labor.
• Ensures sanitation, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
• Interacts with residents, families, and staff providing excellent service.
• Attends meetings and coordinates with Maintenance for equipment PM.
• May conduct staff trainings and participate in marketing/onsite events.
