Job summary

Parkland Village is seeking a Dining Services Director to oversee the dining services department, ensuring five-star service for residents and maintaining operations with integrity. You will lead the team, manage menu planning, budgeting, and compliance with nutrition and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and the ability to recruit and train dining personnel, while upholding Cascade Living’s mission and values in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Five years of direct supervision and management experience in high-end senior living communities, hotels or country clubs.
• Ability to plan menus daily within budget.
• Experience and/or training in nutrition, safe food handling and food service management.
• Strong communication with staff, residents and families.
• Ability to hire, train and lead dining personnel.
• Ownership attitude and focus amidst interruptions.

As the Dining Services Director at Parkland Village you’re responsible for overall management of the dining services department team and operations. You’ll lead the way in providing five-star service to our residents, which makes you an integral part of the community’s culture.

What we look for in a Dining Services Director:

• Preferred five years of direct supervision and management experience in high-end senior living communities, hotels or country clubs
• Creativity to the art of food preparation, while also being able to plan menus daily and within budget
• Experience and/or training in nutrition, food preparation, safe food handling techniques and food service management
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
• Strong customer service skills with ability to problem solve
• Ability to hire, train and provide leadership for Food and Dining personnel
• Ownership attitude and able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day
