Job summary

Tapestry Senior Living – Lakeshore in Tallahassee, FL invites you to join as a Dining Services Director in a full-time salaried role with a $60,000 annual salary. You will oversee food production, menus, purchasing, inventory, portions, and budgeting to support resident dining.

Lead and coach dining staff, ensure safety, sanitation, and cleanliness, coordinate events, and manage records. Must hold ServSafe certification and have 3+ years of food service management experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Culinary or Hospitality degree, preferred.
• ServSafe Certification, required.
• 3+ years of food service management experience, required.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to stand for a long period of time.
• Compassionate, ethical and friendly demeanor with residents, families and team.

Responsibilities

• Manage food production, menus, purchasing, inventory, portion control and budget oversight.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach and evaluate dining services staff.
• Create a positive dining experience and support resident events.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and upkeep of the dining room.
• Maintain records, monitor expenses, oversee equipment maintenance and support community goals.
• Support dining service as needed and assist guests.
• Monitor labor and adjust staffing to meet financial goals.
• Foster a positive team environment and motivate staff.

What You’ll Do:
