Job description

As a Dining Services Attendant at Nrich, you are an integral part of a team. This position performs various duties necessary in the preparation or service of food and provides quality customer service to students, faculty, staff, and guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Setsup and replenishes serving lines and serves customers in food serviceunits. Gathers hot and cold food for service line and serves to customers.
  • Performsfood preparation tasks such as sandwich and salad making and beveragepreparation, following written standardized recipes.
  • Cleanand process fruits and vegetables and prepares various salads, accordingto written standardized recipes.
  • Scrapesand sorts dirty dishes, silverware and glassware and operates dishwashingmachines.
  • Maintainscleanliness of dining room and kitchen areas; sweeps, mops and vacuumsfloors; cleans dishes from tables and cleans dining room tables andchairs.
  • Operatesand cleans food service equipment.
  • Inventoriesarea and completes required forms. Maintains sanitation, health and safetystandards in work area.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledgeof basic food safety protocols.
  • Abilityto work nights and weekends.
  • Abilityto do simple math.
  • Knowledgeof cleaning and sanitizing equipment/chemicals.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift/transport up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Highschool diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Past food service experience is always a plus!
