Position HighlightsAs a Dining Services Attendant at Nrich, you are an integral part of a team. This position performs various duties necessary in the preparation or service of food and provides quality customer service to students, faculty, staff, and guests.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuties & Responsibilities
- Sets up and replenishes serving lines and serves customers in food service units. Gathers hot and cold food for service line and serves to customers.
- Performs food preparation tasks such as sandwich and salad making and beverage preparation, following written standardized recipes.
- Clean and process fruits and vegetables and prepares various salads, according to written standardized recipes.
- Scrapes and sorts dirty dishes, silverware and glassware and operates dishwashing machines.
- Maintains cleanliness of dining room and kitchen areas; sweeps, mops and vacuums floors; cleans dishes from tables and cleans dining room tables and chairs.
- Operates and cleans food service equipment.
- Inventories area and completes required forms. Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work area.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of basic food safety protocols.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to do simple math.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing equipment/chemicals.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/transport up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
Preferred Qualifications- Past food service experience is always a plus!
