We’re seeking a passionate Dining Services Attendant to bring their skills to our dynamic team. The Dining Services Attendant performs various duties necessary in the preparation or service of food. This is first in a series of four classifications and is distinguished from the Dining Service Attendant, Senior in that incumbents do not have lead responsibilities. This class typically reports to Dining Service Supervisor or Cook Lead. This position may require working days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Sets up andreplenishes serving lines and serves customers in food service unit.
  • Serves itemsfollowing portion control.
  • Performs foodpreparation tasks such as sandwich and salad making and beverage preparation,following written standardized recipes.
  • Cleans andprocesses fruits and vegetables and prepares various salads, according towritten standardized recipes.
  • Weighs, labels and dates all food items: stores in designated areas.
  • Operates andcleans food service equipment.
  • Inventoriesarea and completes required forms.
  • Cleans countertops,walls, shelves, drain screens and floor mats.
  • Maintainssanitation, health and safety standards in work area.
  • Stocks asneeded.
  • Greets andserves customers in a friendly courteous manner.
  • Takessuggestions and passes them onto the supervisor.
  • Actively solvesproblems wherever possible.
  • Worksharmoniously with coworkers.
  • Additionalduties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge ofcleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards.
  • Skills in usingcleaning products and equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and POS.
PhysicalRequirement:
  • Occasionallylifts a maximum of 50lbs.
