Job summary

ServiceSource is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at Cherry Point to support daily dining operations and gain valuable food service experience in a team-oriented environment.

Set up food on cafeteria lines, serve customers, handle utensils, and maintain cleanliness across shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and pass a military background check, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must pass a military installation background check.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Well-organized and self-directed with ability to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up food on cafeteria lines and portion servings.
• Replace glassware, dishes, and silverware; refill condiments.
• Clean work areas, utensils, and equipment; remove garbage; mop floors.
• Prepare food by washing, cutting, dicing, and opening cans.
• Notify supervisor of malfunctioning or hazardous equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
