Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dining Services Assistant Manager to support the dining operations at a long-term care facility in Michigan. You will help manage daily activities, supervise staff, ensure food quality and safety, and provide excellent resident and family service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in food service management is desirable.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in dining services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dining Services Manager in overseeing daily operations.
• Supervise and train staff to maintain high standards.
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and food safety standards.
• Maintain records of inventory, costs, and staff schedules.
• Lead staff training on food preparation, service techniques, and safety.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to enhance the dining experience.
