Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is seeking a Dining Services Assistant for our Fairlawn Campus to support nursing care residents with meals and nourishment, while maintaining pantries and sanitation standards.

This 12-hour-per-week, part-time role from 3:00p to 7:00p on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays offers opportunities for training, development, and community involvement in a compassionate, Christ-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in Nursing Home/Hospital type setting or in a hospitality setting preferred.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide meals and nourishment to nursing care residents and maintain pantries according to guidelines.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures including dish room responsibilities.
• Perform some janitorial functions as needed.

Summary Of Position

In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the Dining Services Assistant is responsible for food service operations including; providing meals and nourishment to nursing care residents, maintaining nursing care pantries according to set guidelines, following proper sanitation procedures including dish room responsibilities and some janitorial functions.
