Healthcare Services Group Inc. seeks a Dining Services Assistant Manager to support the dining operations at a long-term care facility. You will help supervise staff, ensure food quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.

You will partner with the Dining Services Manager, oversee daily tasks, train staff on service and safety, and maintain records. This role requires leadership, reliability, and adherence to guidelines; residency within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in food service management is desired.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily dining operations and staff training.
• Ensure dietary guidelines and food safety compliance.
• Maintain records of food inventory, costs, and schedules.
• Lead staff training on prep, service, and safety.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to improve dining.
• Inspect food service areas for cleanliness.
