Job summary

Astoria Park Senior Living in Pasadena, California is seeking a friendly Server to join our dining team. As a Server, you will set up dining spaces, take orders, deliver meals to residents and visitors, and ensure a welcoming, respectful dining experience.

The ideal candidate has good communication, can work independently and with a team, and can stand for extended periods while lifting up to 50 pounds. Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred, and a high school diploma

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining spaces and provide residents and visitors with food.
• Assist as needed with cleaning and food preparation tasks.
• Provide residents and visitors polite and helpful service.
• Ensure that food is served in the proper quantities and at the appropriate temperature.
• Abide by dietary limits and rules that residents and medical professionals specify.
• Always keep the eating space tidy and organized.
