Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a server for our on-site dining team. You will take and serve meal orders, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain clean, welcoming dining areas while following safety and service standards.

Previous fine dining experience is a plus, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. This role offers competitive wages and opportunities for advancement within a hospitalities-focused senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in fine dining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes proper food handling and service techniques.
• Takes meal/drink orders and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensures residents/guests are satisfied with their meals.
• Maintains knowledge of all specials and describes food items to residents or guests.
• Keeps tables and surrounding area clean and presentable.
• Follows daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Supports orientation and training of new food servers.
• Adheres to safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Sets up and cleans the dining room to hospitality standards.
• Maintains appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation and hygiene.
• Completes opening and closing checklist criteria.
• Assists in dining room flow and supplies placement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
