Job summary

Astoria Park Senior Living in Pasadena, California is seeking a Server to provide warm dining experiences for residents and visitors. You will set up dining spaces, take orders, serve meals, and help ensure food safety and proper portions.

The role requires excellent communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience in food service or customer service is preferred, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a food service or customer service role preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining spaces and provide residents and visitors with food.
• Assist as needed with cleaning and food preparation tasks.
• Provide residents and visitors polite and helpful service.
• Ensure that food is served in the proper quantities and at the appropriate temperature.
• Abide by dietary limits and rules that residents and medical professionals specify.
• Always keep the eating space tidy and organized.
