Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school or have a diploma.
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent dining service to residents.

Position Details

As a Dining Server in our senior living facility, your primary responsibility is to provide excellent dining service to residents in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. You will ensure residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience while respecting dietary restrictions and personal preferences.

Hours
  • 4:00p‑Close (6:00‑6:30p)
  • Flexible schedule
  • Every other weekend
  • Occasional holidays
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Take food and beverage orders, serve meals, and assist residents with menu choices.
  • Ensure timely delivery of meals and provide prompt table service.
  • Clear tables, sanitize dining areas, and reset tables for the next meal.
  • Interact with residents politely, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Provide personalized attention, catering to dietary requirements and special requests.
  • Familiarize yourself with the daily menu, ingredients, and portion sizes; explain options and make recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to understand specific restrictions and allergies.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining cleanliness of dining areas.
  • Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate residents’ feedback and requests effectively to the team.
  • Engage residents in friendly conversations, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Assist with special events and themed meals, including décor and buffet setup.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Equipment: Robot AI Server Assistant.

Education or Degree Required: Enrolled in high school or high school diploma; must be at least 16 years of age.
