Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables, stock all service stations and assist food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Quickly clear dirty tables and prepare tables for resetting, maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods.
• Greet guests in a pleasant and courteous manner, serve beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
• Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Respond to guest requests and communicate needs to the server to ensure efficient service.
• Communicate with server/host to assure seating, table utilization, and customer service.
