Job summary

Senior Resource Group in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a dining room supervisor to oversee wait staff during meals and ensure top-tier dining experiences for residents and guests. You will supervise service, manage staff, and maintain quality dining room operations.

The full-time role offers a 1:30p–9:30p schedule on Fri–Sun plus two weekdays, with a $24–$26 per hour wage, paid training, and benefits. No late nights, and opportunities for growth and recognition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in hospitality, residential, or club dining rooms preferred.
• First aid and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that wait staff dresses in designated uniforms that are clean and pressed.
• Maintain the daily menu board.
• Assist in establishing staffing schedule; monitor staffing schedule; fill in when gaps in staffing exist; overtime can be avoided; actual wages trending higher than budget.
• Confirm that dining room personnel extend exceptional customer service in seating residents, presenting menus and specials, answering questions, and making suggestions regarding food and services.
• Make sure that tables are promptly and properly bussed. Ensure that tables are cleared and reset in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Directly supervise employees in the dining room. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws; interviewing, hiring, training, and more.

Essential Duties:

• Ensure that wait staff dresses in designated uniforms that are clean and pressed.

• High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development); or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working in hospitality, residential, or club dining rooms preferred.
• First aid and CPR certified.
