Job summary

Senior Resource Group, LLC is seeking a dining room supervisor to assist in preparing services for residents and guests. You will supervise wait staff, help serve meals, and maintain a high standard of customer service in a fine dining environment.

The role emphasizes scheduling, safety, and top-quality service, with opportunities for growth and a stable, team-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in hospitality, residential, or club dining rooms preferred.
• First aid and CPR certified.
• Must be over 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wait staff in dining room and assist in serving meals.
• Maintain daily menu board and dining room setup.
• Assist in staffing schedule planning and overtime control.
• Ensure exceptional seating, menu presentation, and guest service.
• Bus and reset tables promptly and correctly.
• Supervise dining room staff and support hiring/training as needed.

You will assist in supervising wait staff in preparing dining room for meals, in serving meals to residents and guests, and in servicing dining room after meals. Crisp linen tablecloths, fine china and top-quality fresh ingredients; this is made-to-order dining at its finest. Essential Duties:

• Ensure that wait staff dresses in designated uniforms that are clean and pressed.


• Maintain the daily menu board.


• Assist in establishing staffing schedule; monitor staffing schedule; and fill in when gaps in staffing exist, overtime can be avoided, and/or actual wages are trending higher than budget.


• Confirm that dining room personnel extend exceptional customer service in seating residents, presenting menus and specials, answering questions, and making suggestions regarding food and services.


• Make sure that tables are promptly and properly bussed. Ensure that tables are cleared and reset in a timely and appropriate manner.


• Directly supervise employees in the dining room. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  

• High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development); or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Experience working in hospitality, residential, or club dining rooms preferred.


• First aid and CPR certified.


• Must be over 21 years old
