Overlake Golf & Country Club in Medina, WA seeks an enthusiastic dining room server to deliver exceptional member service in a premier setting. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience with a focus on hospitality and teamwork.

The role emphasizes friendly, attentive service, adherence to health standards, and collaboration with kitchen and bar staff to optimize service flow. Experience with private clubs is a plus.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete a background check.
• Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain one.
• At least one weekend day required; both days are a plus.
• Private club experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform Server or Server Assistant responsibilities to the utmost.
• Fantastic customer-focused mentality.

Responsabilités

• Greet members warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations based on member preferences.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the system.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner.
• Check in with members to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
• Bill the members correctly and accurately split checks as requested.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
• Assist with bussing duties, including clearing and resetting tables efficiently.
• Support hosting duties, such as welcoming members at the door, managing reservations, and seating guests.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance member experience.
• Handle member complaints or escalate them to management as needed.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down service areas.
• Monitor and maintain stock of supplies like napkins, condiments, and utensils.
• Adhere to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Provide a positive and welcoming experience to ensure member satisfaction and repeat business.
• Perform all other front of house duties as assigned.

Overlake Golf & Country Club (OGCC) was originally established in 1927 on this beautiful site in the hidden neighborhood of Medina, Washington. It has evolved over the years into a family country club with modern values and has become a place where the members gather to enjoy dining, social activities, golf, tennis and aquatics with family, friends, and business associates. We are known as the premier family club in the Pacific Northwest, and we take great pride in our unrivaled hospitality, our commitment to environmental stewardship, and in developing our staff. Our hourly wage range is $22.50–30/hour, depending on experience, availability and we operate as a non-tipping restaurant.

Job Summary
