Job summary

Prestige Senior Living – Beaverton Hills is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide - Server to assist with food preparation, service, and dining operations in the dietary department. Shifts typically run 7am–2pm and/or 3pm–6:30pm, with starting wages at $17.50 per hour.

You will ensure proper diet, sanitation, and timely meal delivery to residents, while maintaining a respectful environment and following safety guidelines. A Food Handler Permit is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handler Permit as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food and is responsible for serving meals, snacks, and beverages using portion control and sanitation practices.
• Deliver meals to resident rooms or tables per dietary orders and ensure proper diet and food preferences.
• Keep the kitchen, dietary equipment, and dining room clean and sanitary at all times.
• Wash dishes and ensure dishwasher operates at the proper temperature; record dishwasher temperature.
• Store, rotate, and label food in accordance with guidelines; discard outdated items.
• Record equipment temperatures and report faulty equipment.
• Follow fire safety, infection control, and hazardous chemical practices.
• Greet residents and staff courteously, maintaining dignity and confidentiality.
• Reset dining room for next meal and ensure supplies for upcoming meals.
• Attend training and staff meetings.
