Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Beaverton seeks a Dining Room Server for a part-time role. You will provide high-quality meal service with courteous interactions and accurate order taking, ensuring excellent resident experiences in a senior living community.

The position offers evening shifts (Thu-Sat, 4pm–8pm) with a pay range of $18.00–$19.00 per hour and a culture focused on care, service, and community values.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality meal service with accurate communication and order taking.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Previous experience in dietary department or restaurant is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness and a sanitary environment at all times.
• Oversee bistro areas: food presentation, cleanliness, stock, beverages.
• Know daily specials and how they are prepared and presented.
• Learn residents' names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
