Role Summary

The Dining Room Server greets guests after they are seated at tables in Degrees restaurant, focusing on customer service. The position informs guests of specials or pertinent information, answers questions about menus including alcoholic beverages, and provides a full‑service dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Take meal orders accurately, ask clarifying questions, and repeat orders to ensure accuracy.
• Serve food to guests in a timely manner and check back to ensure satisfaction.
• Present the check, process payment, and provide receipts.
• Greets and seats guests, helps clear and reset tables, takes reservations, and maintains the OpenTable system.
• Assist in training new staff on server duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and monitor guest experience.
• Communicate with management, culinary staff, and the host regarding guest needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• One year of restaurant experience.
• Valid State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).

Employment Details

Full Time/Part Time: Part time, Union (if applicable). Scheduled Hours: 20.
