Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living is seeking a part-time Evening Dining Associate to support dining services in our community. Responsibilities include preparing dining areas, serving meals, and ensuring food temperature and presentation meet standards.

Ideal candidates will have reliable reading and writing abilities, follow instructions, work well independently or as part of a team, and provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas for meals; this may include setting tables with dinnerware and decoration.
• Serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper food temperature when serving.
• Communicate with and respond to customer meal requests.
• Obtain meal orders.
• Monitor and maintain proper levels of supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms.
• May observe and report changes in residents dining habits to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Maintain adequate cleanliness of dining services equipment and work area.
• Ensure proper storage of food items according to policy.
• May operate dishwasher when appropriate.
