Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Manager for Vitalia Active Adult Community at North Olmsted, OH. The role is full-time with hours 9:30am–7:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday, offering a $19–$23/hour pay range.

The manager will ensure a pristine dining environment, greet residents, and maintain exceptional service while coordinating with wellness staff and supervisors to support residents’ dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred.
• Knowledge of requirements for providing care and supervision to residents.
• Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county.
• Able to read/write/understand/communicate in English at least 8th grade level.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Must be active with standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping all day.
• Must be able to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist residents with sitting/standing/walking and fall assistance.
• Must be criminally cleared.
• Good health verified by health screening within 6 months prior or after employment; TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Keep Front of House front of mind; ensure dining room looks and service is impeccable.
• Greet residents, be present in dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster resident connections.
• Prepare tables/food prep and maintain readiness for service.
• Buss tables, sweep floors, and maintain cleanliness as part of essential operations.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness about residents' dietary changes or absences from meals.

What are we looking for?

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred.
• Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
• Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting people after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.
• Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment. Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
