Job summary

HHS Senior Living, LLC (USA) seeks an experienced leader to oversee cafe retail operations, driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth in our hospital dining environment. You will manage daily operations, recruit and develop a strong retail team, and ensure a welcoming, high-energy dining space for staff and visitors.

The role requires 5+ years in retail food and at least 3 years in management, with proficiency in POS systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of retail food experience in quick-serve or dining.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Familiarity with POS/register systems.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), or willingness to obtain certification within 18 months

Responsibilities

• Manage the cafe retail area to provide excellent customer service and support revenue growth
• Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect
• Develop and monitor evaluation processes for customer satisfaction
• Maintain and improve customer satisfaction through communication and integrity

Job Description We are seeking a warm, high-energy leader to join our culinary team and bring our cafeteria and retail bistro to life! In this role, you will oversee day-to-day retail operations, crafting a welcoming, vibrant, and profitable dining space where dedicated hospital staff and patient families can recharge over a great meal. You’ll lead a goal-driven team, cultivating a supportive, efficient, and rewarding culture where everyone thrives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cafe retail area to provide excellent customer service and support revenue growth
• Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect
• Develop and monitor evaluation processes for customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate continuous ability to maintain and/or improve customer satisfaction through communication, integrity, and performance
• Lead retail team member recruiting, training, development, scheduling, and assignments
• Perform daily inspections and assessments and coach and counsel team members
• Manage and monitor all department sales and costs

Requirements

• Minimum associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of retail food experience in quick-serve restaurants, supermarket merchandising, or fine dining
• 3+ years of management
• Experience with cash handling policies and procedures
• Familiarity with various point of sales (POS)/register systems
• Knowledge of hospital food service operations
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms
• Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities
• Not Required But a Big Plus Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), or willingness to obtain certification within 18 months
