Job summary

Regency Oaks in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Dining Room Manager to lead our dining team and ensure exceptional resident-centered hospitality. The role offers full-time hours with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and a Sunday-Saturday schedule that includes weekends.

You will supervise dining room operations, coordinate seating, and train staff while maintaining safety and service standards. We offer tuition reimbursement/401K with match, paid orientation, comprehensive medical/dental/vision

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years Lead Server/Trainer experience within fine dining, club, hotel or similar institution.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Available seven days per week for the work schedule.
• Background screening per AHCA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the dining room appearance and server stations, including tables, chairs, and lighting.
• Coordinates seating of residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner.
• Schedules stations and work assignments for wait staff and servers to meet standards.
• Provides on-the-job training for dining room staff including safety procedures.
• Records meal counts, reservations and charges; knowledge of POS system; coordinates with Dining Room Manager.
• Assigns side-work and servers to workstations; checks supplies.

Schedule:

• Sun-Thu 11:00am-7:30pm
• (Sunday 10:00am-6:30pm)

Responsibilities:

• Supervises the physical appearance of the dining room area and server stations including table pedestals, table place settings, chairs, floors, drapes and lighting.
• Coordinates the seating of the residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner.
• Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met.
• Responsible for on-the-job training for dining room staff including workplace safety procedures.
• Records meal counts, reservations and additional charges. Complete knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) system. 6. Confers with Dining Room Manager regarding dining room status.
• Assigns side-work pre & post shift.
• Assigns servers to workstations.
• Checks supplies like linen, carry-out paper goods, etc.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years Lead Server/Trainer experience within fine restaurant, club, hotel or similar institution.
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Available seven (7) days per week for work schedule.
• Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.
• Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, work with, and be tolerant of residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors and subordinates.
