Job summary

Regency Oaks is seeking a hospitality-focused Plant Operations Tech to maintain residential and public areas. The role requires handling routine and emergency repairs, and coordinating with residents and staff. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available in Clearwater, FL.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliances, plus a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Effective communication in English with residents and staff; able to take direction.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a level two background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in apartments and public areas; fixes electrical, plumbing, lighting, drywall, painting, doors and locks.
• Responds to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Completes work orders promptly with detailed task and equipment information.
• Attendance is essential and punctuality is required.

We are currently seeking a hospitality focused Plant Ops Tech - Full-time & Part-time

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Plant Operations Tech is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential and public areas through responsive, accurate, and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, drywall/concrete repairs, painting, repairing doors and locks, etc.

2. Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.

3. Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.

4. Attendance is essential to this job. Must also maintain dependability and punctuality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess some working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliances. Must be able to effectively communicate in English with residents/staff and take direction well.

Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to successfully complete a level two background check.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School or GED.
• Long Term Care/ Nursing home experience 1 year,
• Technical Certificate or Degree preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building or hotel preferred.

Schedule:

Full-time: Sat-Wed 8:00am-4:30pm

Part-time: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
