Job summary

Stonebridge Golf & Country Club is seeking a Dining Room Manager to join our Food & Beverage management team and oversee member and guest dining services. You will supervise service staff, maintain high standards, and partner with the Clubhouse Manager and Executive Chef to deliver exceptional hospitality.

The role requires 3–4 years of supervisory experience in a private club or fine dining setting, a professional demeanor, and familiarity with Jonas POS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Food & Beverage service with a visible presence during lunch and dinner.
• Plan dining room set-up based on guest counts and client needs.
• Lead daily pre-service lineups and supervise dining room staff.
• Foster hospitality, excellence, and accountability among the team.
• Collaborate with Clubhouse Manager and Executive Chef to ensure top service and member satisfaction.
• Address member/guest concerns professionally and document actions taken.
• Maintain proper dress code standards for staff and members.
• Track dining metrics such as cover counts, check averages, and labor costs.
• Inspect dining room staff uniforms and appearance.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating dining room staff.
• Produce daily revenue analyses and POS reports.
• Ensure side-work completion and cleaning of equipment/storage areas.
• Lead pre-meal meetings and relay important information to staff.
• Ensure dining areas, equipment and fixtures are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Maintain secure club areas at end of business day.
• Maintain inventory of dining room items and proper storage.
• May serve as opening/closing manager or manager on duty.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and club policies.

DINING ROOM MANAGER

Stonebridge Golf & Country Club, is seeking to hire a Dining Room Manager to join our Food and Beverage management team. The Dining Room Manager will manage the service of members and guests in the dining room. Supervise, instruct and assist service staff in all aspects of their specific positions. Assures that member satisfaction standards are consistently met. The Dining Room Manager must uphold Stonebridge Country Club's core values, as well as the highest levels of food and beverage service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily Food & Beverage Service with a strong, visible presence during lunch and dinner.
• Plans dining room set-up based on anticipated guest counts and client needs.
• Lead daily pre-service lineups and supervise all dining room service staff.
• Foster a culture of hospitality, excellence, and accountability among the team.
• Partner with Clubhouse Manager, Managing Director of Culinary/Executive Chef and other Club leaders to ensure the highest level of service and member satisfaction.
• Handle member/guests concerns with professionalism, following up and documenting actions taken.
• Maintain proper dress code standards for both staff and members.
• Track key dining metrics including cover counts, check averages, and labor costs.
• Inspects dining room employees to ensure that they are in proper and clean uniforms at all times.
• Assists in hiring, training, supervising, scheduling and evaluating dining room staff.
• Produces daily or meal-period revenue analyses and other reports from point of sale (POS) systems used in the dining room.
• Assures that all side-work is accomplished and that all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule.
• Directs pre-meal meetings with dining room personnel; relays pertinent information such as house count and menu changes, special member requests, etc.
• Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of dining room areas, equipment and fixtures; checks the maintenance of all equipment in the dining room and reports deficiencies and maintenance concerns.
• Assures that the dining room and other club areas are secure at the end of the business day.
• Maintains an inventory of dining room items including silverware, coffee pots, water pitchers, glassware, flatware and china, salt and pepper holders, sugar bowls and linen and ensures that they are properly stored and accounted for.
• May serve as club's opening and closing manager or manager on duty.
• Assures that local and state laws and the club's policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
• Performs other appropriate assignments and projects as required by the Clubhouse Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 to 4 years supervisory experience working in a comparable position in a private country club or fine dining restaurant.
• Available to work flexible schedule including Lunch and Dinner and able to work on weekends and holidays.
• Must be flexible and able to adjust to meet the changing needs of the Club and the Members.
• Must maintain a level of professionalism and communicate effectively.
• Possess the highest work ethics, personal morals and honesty beyond reproach.
• Working knowledge of Jonas POS System preferred.
