Job summary

A senior living community in York is seeking a full-time server to support meal service operations. Responsibilities include taking and delivering food orders, engaging with residents, and maintaining service logs. A minimum of 2 years of prior serving experience is required. Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time Position (80 hours biweekly).
• Hours: M-F 11:00am-7:30pm, every other weekend, every other holiday required
• Pay: $16.50/hour.

Job Description

• Always works with and supports other servers and coordinators.
• Responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders in meal service
• Exhibits positive customer service by engaging with residents/customers and becoming familiar with their preferences
• Consistently completes entry into all log sheets as required i.e. meal counts, dishwasher temperature, etc.
• Records and stocks supplies in service areas, as needed
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Restaurant operations, services, and facilities.
• Prior serving experience of minimum 2 years required
