Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. is seeking a full-time server to support meal service for residents in a senior living setting. You will take and deliver orders, assist with dining room setup, and help ensure top-quality customer service while learning residents’ preferences.

The position requires at least two years of serving experience, a strong focus on sanitation, and teamwork to maintain smooth dining operations; standard hours apply with alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Restaurant operations, services, and facilities.
• Prior serving experience of minimum 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders in meal service.
• Assist in dining room/catering set up.
• Engage with residents/customers to provide quality service.
• Record and log meal counts, dishwasher temperatures, etc.
• Stock supplies in service areas.
• Maintain food sanitation, infection control and quality assurance.
• Train staff as needed.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time Position (80 hours biweekly).
• Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; every other weekend required
• Pay: $17.50/hour.

Job Description

• Always works with and supports other servers and coordinators.
• Responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders in meal service
• Assists in dining room/catering set up
• Exhibits positive customer service by engaging with residents/customers and becoming familiar with their preferences
• Consistently completes entry into all log sheets as required i.e. meal counts, dishwasher temperature, etc.
• Records and stocks supplies in service areas, as needed
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance
• Trains staff as needed
