Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Full Time Dining Room Attendant for the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club! Your responsibilities will include assisting servers to ensure prompt, courteous service to all guests and members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance in line with Omni standards, based on the resort's scheduling needs.
• Present a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, including proper attire and name tag.
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper service procedures.
• Sanitize service trays daily.
• Bus tables and assist in maintaining cleanliness.
• Stock supplies and ensure a full ice supply at side stations.
• Manage product deliveries efficiently.
• Transport prepared food from kitchen to floor promptly.
• Ensure food items are covered, dated, and discard expired items.
• Set tables with clean linens, china, silverware, and glassware.
• Keep furniture and floors clean and arranged according to standards.
• Assist servers during busy hours, such as refilling guest drinks.
• Clear extra settings after use.
• Clean and maintain coffee makers, beverage machines, trays, dishware, silverware, and glassware.
• Maintain knowledge of menus and beverage offerings.
• Always wear gloves when handling food.
• Cross-train in other restaurant positions.
• Familiarize with the resort property.
• Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Adherence to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects of moderate weight.
