Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Full Time Dining Room Attendant for the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club! The role involves assisting servers to ensure prompt and courteous service to all guests and members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Omni standards, with varying schedules based on resort needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper attire and name tag.
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper service procedures.
• Wipe down service trays with sanitizer daily.
• Bus tables and stock supplies, including ice for side stations.
• Assist with product deliveries and transport food from kitchen to floor promptly.
• Ensure food items are covered, dated, and expired items are discarded.
• Set tables with clean linens, china, silverware, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of furniture and floors.
• Help servers during operating hours, such as refilling guest drinks.
• Remove extra settings and clean equipment like coffee makers and beverage machines.
• Maintain familiarity with menus and beverage offerings.
• Always wear gloves when handling food.
• Cross-train in other restaurant positions.
• Know the resort property well.
• Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Adherence to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move moderate weights.
