Job Summary

To clear and reset tables and assist the food servers in their duties while providing courteous, professional, and efficient service to the guests.

Essential Job Functions

This description summarizes primary responsibilities and qualifications. It does not include all duties or qualifications that may be required now or in the future. The Hotel operates 24/7, so shifts may vary in days, start times, and hours worked.

  1. Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting. Reset all service ware promptly and maintain cleanliness to meet Hotel and Health standards.
  2. Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations, including silverware, linen, and condiments for all meal periods.
  3. Serve guests with beverages, breads, and butter, and replenish as needed.
  4. Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for cleaning.
  5. Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to meet health standards.
  6. Fold napkins and roll silverware throughout the day to ensure adequate supply.
  7. Stock and maintain service stations with supplies before, during, and after shifts.
  8. Assist servers with order delivery and pre-busing tables.
  9. Perform other duties such as cleaning spills or handling guest requests to ensure satisfaction.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  11. Follow safety and security procedures and know fire prevention and emergency protocols.
  12. Use protective equipment as required.
  13. Report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or property damage to supervisors.
  14. Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per team member standards.
  15. Perform any related duties as requested by supervisors.
  16. Assist other restaurant personnel when needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of liquor regulations related to serving minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Possession or pursuit of a current Food Handler Card.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Understanding of proper table settings and service ware.
  • Basic English proficiency to understand inquiries and give instructions.
  • Ability to apply written instructions for safe product use.
Physical Demands
  • Transport up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout shifts.
  • Lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
  • Move or push goods weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Constant standing, walking, and frequent twisting, bending, reaching, and other physical activities.
