Job Overview

Clears all used tableware, napkins, and refuse from tables to tubs in bus stations, wipes tables, chairs, and clears debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding tables.

Responsibilities
  • Clears all used tableware, napkins, and refuse from tables to tubs in bus stations, wipes tables, chairs, and clears debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding tables.
  • Resets tables according to established standards to seat new customers quickly. Removes full tubs from bus stations to the dishwashing area for cleaning, maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and orderly bus station to improve efficiency.
  • Retrieves cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils from the dish room and distributes them to service stations for restaurant use.
  • Sweeps restaurant floors throughout the shift to maintain cleanliness and presentation.
  • Retrieves requisitioned items from the stockroom, ensures requisition accuracy, and stocks supplies properly, rotating stock regularly.
  • Assists waitstaff by refilling beverages and accommodating requests for condiments, additional food items, or clean tableware.
  • Keeps ice stations filled by carrying buckets of ice from the main ice machine and pouring into individual stations.
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management.

  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations.

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs, including serving trays, carts, tables, chairs, and small equipment, up to 75% of the time.
  • Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and fingering throughout the shift.
  • Full range of mobility and ability to travel up to 300 feet regularly during the shift.
  • Continuous standing during preparation, service, or expediting.
  • Ability to read meters and controls.
