Job summary

Gordon Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Dining Services supervisor to oversee planning, organization, and direction of the Dining and Nutritional Services department. You will supervise staff, implement procedural guidelines, and maintain inter-departmental communication to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, budget awareness, and a focus on compliant operations within a mission-driven, nonprofit setting focused on resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills required.
• Effective verbal and written communication with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing and directing Dining and Nutritional Services.
• Demonstrates supervisory skills with fair corrective actions.
• Maintains inter-departmental communication for positive relationships.
• Maintains supplies and equipment per budget; comply with guidelines.
• May participate in hiring, in-service training, and staff coverage.
• Promotes the System image through servant leadership and teamwork.
• Reviews functions to ensure compliance with standards and surveys.
