Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Utility at Ellery Arbor Memory Care in Colleyville, TX. This role supports the Dining Room Manager and Culinary Director by managing dining room and kitchen cleanup to ensure hospitality, service, and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least six months in a commercial kitchen, a state/local food handler permit, and strong English communication; must be caring, organized and able to multitask.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Food handler’s permit required by state/local authority.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Caring, organized and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Collect dishes and kitchen utensils from the tables during mealtimes.
• Wash dishes and kitchen utensils, assuring highest standards of cleanliness.
• Eliminate stains from all utensils.
• Monitor the temperature of the dishwashing machine daily and report any issue.
• Remove from service cracked/broken dishes or damaged utensils.
• Store dishes, glassware, and utensils properly for next use.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation under direction of Culinary Director.
• Set up tables and beverage station; refill salt, pepper, sugar dispensers.
• Ensure salads and desserts are properly portioned.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly manner; deliver to rooms as needed.
• Dispose of trash properly.
• Clean dishwasher inside and out; deep-clean kitchen monthly.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor, walk-in, and freezer each evening.
