Job summary

Sagora Senior Living in Plano, TX, is seeking a Part-time Utility teammate to support dining room and kitchen cleanup, under the Dining Room Manager and Culinary Director. The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and resident satisfaction in a senior living environment.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in a commercial kitchen, must obtain a food handler’s permit as required, and demonstrate excellent English communication and organization to multi-task across dining and kitchen duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Food handler’s permit as required by state/local authority.
• Strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect dishes and utensils during mealtimes.
• Wash and sanitize dishes to high cleanliness standards.
• Monitor dishwasher temperature and report issues.
• Store dishes properly for next mealtime.
• Set up tables and beverage stations; restock salt/pepper/sugar.
• Serve meals promptly and courteously; deliver to rooms as needed.
• Dispose of trash properly; deep-clean kitchen monthly.
• Sweep/mop kitchen floors, walk-in fridge/freezer daily.
