Job summary

Main Event Lexington is seeking a friendly Dining Host to greet and seat guests, coordinate with servers and managers, and help maintain a safe, clean dining room and bar. You’ll manage waitlists, communicate clearly with team members, and perform opening, mid-day or closing duties.

Prior food and beverage experience helps but isn’t required; a Food Handlers Certification may be required. This part-time role offers an inclusive culture and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcoming and greeting dining Guests and gathering details about their visit.
• Perform table management and update waitlist.
• Seat Guests or hand off to another host.
• Communicate with Servers and Guests to ensure a seamless experience.
• Thanking our Guests and welcoming them back.
• Opening, mid-day or closing duties.
