Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and seating guests or guiding to a host stand.
• Maintain open communication with servers, server assistants and managers.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards throughout the dining area.
• Manage seating and waitlists; update as needed.
• Assist with opening, mid-day, or closing duties as scheduled.
• Ensure guests have a seamless dining experience and respond to requests.

Job Description:

At Main Event, Dining Hosts guide Guests through their dining experience and support the overall experience of our dining room and bar area. As a Dining Host, you will greet and seat guests and provide constant communication with servers, server assistants, and managers. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and greet all dining guests while gathering details about their visit (First impressions are everything!)
• Perform table management and keep thewaitlist updated
• Seat the Guests or hand them off to another host
• Communicate with Servers and Guests, using table touches, to ensure a seamless experiaence.
• Thanking our Guests for coming and welcoming them back
• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Food Handlers Certification, as required
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Attention to detail and comfort in afast-paced environment
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
