Job summary

Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH is seeking a dining services utility staff member to support daily dining operations and keep the dish room clean and organized.

You will stock plates, cups, and utensils, wash and sanitize wares, and maintain safety and sanitation standards. The full-time, non-exempt role runs on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays 6 am–2:30 pm) with occasional catering events; prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality preferred.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs on occasion.
• Stand, bend, lift, carry, and move in 2-hour increments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining hall and dish room.
• Stock plates, cups, and utensils before, during, and after service.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize stainless steel surfaces and utensil bins.
• Empty dining hall trash and maintain safe dish room conditions.
• Load/unload the dishwashing machine and re-stack dishes.
• Sweep and mop kitchen, serving area, and pantry nightly.
• Must be able to climb stairs during catering events.
