Job summary

The Village at Orchard Ridge, part of National Lutheran Communities & Services, is seeking a Full-Time Dining Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare nutritious menu items, follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to delight residents and guests.

You’ll work day and evening shifts in a collaborative kitchen, uphold food safety, maintain a clean workstation, and help manage inventory while delivering quality hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious and delicious menu items.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
