Job summary

Fooda is hiring a Dining Associate for our San Jose market. You will interact with customers, handle transactions, operate the POS system, and maintain a clean, welcoming cafe environment.

We seek friendly, energetic individuals with cash-handling skills and comfort with technology. Prior food service experience is preferred. Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time is required.

• Prior food service and cashier experience preferred.
• Comfortable with handling cash and providing accurate change.
• Friendly, high energy and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Strong communication skills and being a self-starter are required.

Position Description:

Due to expanding growth, Fooda is hiring aDining Associate in our San Josemarket.

Who You Are:

• You are comfortable with customers and enjoy customer service
• You are friendly, high energy and comfortable interacting with other people
• You are comfortable with handling cash and providing accurate change
• You are comfortable with technology and running a POS system
• Prior food service and cashier experience preferred

What You Will Be Doing:

• Build relationships with customers by maintaining a positive cafe environment
• Go out of your way to provide a high level of customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of the space and clean dishes
• Strong communication skills and being a self-starter are required
• Know and maintain theFoodaStandards of Service and Sanitation on a daily basis
• Escalate issues to Directorwhen necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
